Squidiee Skewer


  • 9 – 12 Naked Squidiee rings
  • 1 Lemon juice and zest
  • 2 Garlic cloves crushed
  • Fresh coriander finely chopped
  • 1 Red chilli thinly sliced
  • 1 Spring onion thinly sliced
  • Olive oil


  • 2 tbsp Toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Runny honey
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 inch Gninger grated


  1. First, skewer the Squidiee rings, three to a stick‚Äč.
  2. Mix all the other ingredients together, drizzle over the sticks then rub onto the squid to make sure they are nicely coated.
  3. Heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan and fry the Squidiees for 5 minutes each side.
  1. While those are cooking, make the sauce by gently heating all the ingredients together until the honey is melted.
  2. Dip your Squidiee skewers and enjoy.
